What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

So that we can provide an accurate quote for you we ideally need to know the following. Where is the venue? Provide us with a postcode and venue name so we can work out delivery costs. What is the date of the event? We need to know what day we can install the stretch tents and what day to collect. What is the ground? Is it grass/concrete/rooftop etc? We need to know this so we can tell you what type of fixings we can use. How many people are you trying to cover? This lets us know what size tent to quote. Are there any limiting factors? i.e. is it in a courtyard? Are there any large objects like trees that might stop us from erecting the tent.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You should always ask a provider how long they have been established. Whether they are a specialist in stretch tents. Are they MUTA approved. MUTA is the event structure governing body who ensure that standards are met and adhered to. Stretch tents are a specialised structure but manufacturers have been selling to people and marquee companies without giving any guidance or training. It is essential that you go with an established company.

CGSM Events has been established for nearly ten years. We started with one stretch tent and now have over 35 tents of various different sizes and colours.
