What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide you with an accurate quote, we need the following information:

Detailed information about the event, including the date, time, and location of the event
Whether it will be held indoors or outdoors, and if there is a backup plan should it be held outside under bad weather
Please let me know what you are considering and your maximum budget if you have one so I can work on what my company can offer within or just a little bit over that.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You can find out what products they offer and what quality they offer, how long they have been in business and how experienced they are. It is important to know what locations they are willing to travel to in terms of distance. The most important thing is to obtain several quotations and to speak with the hire provider to get a general feel for the person as what one party is entitled to may not be the same thing as what the other party has to offer as things can often be misconstrued.
It is important not to dismiss easily the highest quote as you might be receiving a better product or service than what you expected. Despite the fact that not all businesses have the same products to offer, some may be of greater quality than others, but by consulting with them, you can get a sense of who they are and determine whether their products are appropriate for your event.
Ensure they hold all the required insurances, such as PLI, electrical equipment PAT testing, food licenses, etc. Avoid companies that do not carry the required insurance, since their motive is to make money rather than to protect your safety.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Celebrate by Lisa has been transforming venues with our stunning balloon displays for many years, however over time our clients have been missing a trick on adding that extra special wow factor.

With our expansion in Event Décor, we recently invested £18k in décor props (4ft light-up numbers, 4ft light-up letters A-Z, 4ft light-up symbols, seven sequin shimmer walls in multiple colours, 6m white starlit cloth for weddings and other events) which add extra wow factor to your celebration along with our balloon décor.

A 15-minute drive from Cambridge, Upper Pendrill Court is located above the library in Papworth Everard, Cambridgeshire. Hundreds of balloons are in stock for all occasions, and if out of stock, we can obtain any other balloons very quickly.
