What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When providing a quote for a potential client we would like to have certain information such as event date, time, type of event, venue address and how many potential guests they will have. This information allows us to factor in all costs to ensure that we provide the best possible price for them.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly find out how long they have been working in the industry or providing the required service for. Do they hold the correct insurance, hygiene rating and is all equipment tested. Ask for reviews from other clients and to see pictures of work or set-ups.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
My business started after my sons 3rd Birthday when I themed his birthday around one of his favourite tv shows. I was then asked to provide the same for another person. I found that I really enjoyed making someone’s event memorable for them. Over the years we have added many new services and I love seeing happy smiling guests at events.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I provided Candy Floss and Popcorn for a lady's 50th Birthday Party which was all based around different types of desserts. It was great to see so many people young and old enjoying the Candy Floss and Popcorn and they loved all the different flavours I provided. Being with Add to Event gives the opportunity to reach more potential clients that may not know where to start looking when planning an event. It has worked for me and I have recommended to my friends to join also!
