Candy & Co can cater to any event. All sweets included can be personalised to your taste and both the cart and Ferris Wheel can be decorated to the colour scheme of the event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date and time, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and the venue.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the supplier about the condition of their sweet cart. A lot of sweet cart hire companies have run down and rickety sweet carts (which probably won’t be what you are looking for). Ask them to send you pictures of previous events they have done and remember you can never ask too many questions. The supplier should be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have so ask away! Finally, ask what is included in the price as a lot of companies may have hidden costs, you may even end up hiring a sweet cart that doesn’t includes sweets!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Candy & Co was made out of a love for detail! I had been to so many different events that hired tired and shabby sweet carts before I decided to hire out my own. At Candy & Co, we want out customers to feel at ease on the run up to events so you just tell us who, what, where and when and we can sort out the rest. From the ribbon colour to the personalised stickers, we think of everything so you don’t have to.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
There have been a lot of bookings for me through Add to Event and every single one has been so helpful for my business. Recently, I had the honour of catering for a teddy themed baby shower. The client was so happy with how the sweet cart set up turned out. I have recommended this platform to a number of other business owners.
