Happy Sweet Carts
Happy Sweet Cart provides two sweet carts for hire, decorated to suit the event and ideal for weddings and parties. They can supply the sweets or you can provide your own, it all helps to add that little extra to your event!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We need to know the event date, time and location. We would also need to know how many guests there will roughly be and we'd need to know if there are any allergies or dietary needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You need to be able to ask what size the carts are as to what you can have decorations wise and also how many sweets you can have. Be able to ask what other services they may offer.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Happy Sweet carts came to light after a lot of months of planning. We bought our first cart and then from there we bought 3 different ones. Then we saw the market for doing fairs and having other accessories for different events so expanded our initial plans by getting a post box and making the 4ft letters of Love. We want to make sure we cater for all budgets and special requirements that people may need at an event.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
There is one booking that sticks in our minds and that was a last-minute booking for a bride that was after retro sweets. We had a week to organise and plan before the big day. The bride and her party absolutely loved the sweet cart and was over the moon with the service and the variety of sweets.
