What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote to our potential clients we will need a location of where we will be coming to, a date or a few dates they have in mind, what time they would like us to start and finish so we know how many hours we need to be there for and of course what they would like to hire from us as we have a mobile climbing wall, archery station and team building games.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need to check all references and reviews and the exact details of what is being offered. Discuss the details with the provider carefully to make sure you both know what is required.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started the business as we believed that Education through Adventure was the key and this is our core ethos. No matter how young or old, there is always an exciting adventure to be had at Peak. Everything we do is to open up new experiences and opportunities. We believe in inspiring and encouraging individuals to adopt a different way of thinking and learning, enabling then to reach new heights they didn’t know were possible. We offer fun and education outside the classroom working with schools and colleges to meet their specific needs and outcomes. We offer engaging team training days to help colleagues come together and feel better connected to each other. We also offer stag, hen, birthday parties and group sessions. Peak is part of the Keys Group, providing expert care, education and training for children, young people and adults through their specialist brands.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There was an event that we went to called 'The Kids Festival' and it was a success! It was an attraction as well as other companies at the event. A lot of children used the wall and loved it. The feedback from the company was that our climbing wall team were brilliant and they wanted to use us again. The children who used the wall had a taste of rock climbing and felt a sense of achievement when they got to the top. I like to think that some children walked away wanting to take up climbing as a hobby. We would certainly recommend this as an attraction for an event, it always attracts lots of people and is usually the most popular activity.
