Tipi Unique provides bespoke tipi packages to events of all types throughout Cheshire and beyond. Using spacious, flexible tipis to cater for all shapes and sizes of event, there are a plethora of bespoke customisation and accessory options available to enable you to put your personal stamp on them. Though they are beautiful, the tipis are also very sturdy and are designed to handle anything the British weather can throw at them. The sides can be opened or closed meaning they are truly bespoke to the whims of the host.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Firstly, we need to know what type of structure they are looking for, as well as any internal/external furnishings and decorations. We also need to know the location of the event to calculate delivery costs. Our quotes are completely flexible, and bespoke to each and every customer, meaning quotes can be amended up until 4 weeks before the event. We pride ourselves on working side by side with all clients, using the 4 weeks as a framework to give customers a clear milestone to work to when planning their event. However, we are always more than happy to support them until the day of.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a provider it is important to visit all websites and social media pages. This will give you a clear indication of their success, how they deal with clients, the products offered, and the aspects that make them stand out from other businesses. Similarly, you should seek to find any reviews and testimonials, which should be full of amazing comments from satisfied clients, therefore showing that the company is an expert in their area of work. Additionally, we recommend getting in contact with the company - they must be 100% customer focused, personal, friendly, and more than prepared to help in anyway possible. You need to establish whether the company will offer as much insight as they can about the event you are planning. This includes prices, products, and how/when the structures will be set up, meaning you gain a clear idea of what a tipi event involves right from the first contact.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We actually chose a tipi for our wedding - we just loved how unique and gorgeous they looked while still being an outside venue. The fact that they were something completely different from a hotel or marquee really captured our imaginations, and we fell in love straight away. It was from our own wedding that we became passionate about offering the same breath-taking experiences to others. We wanted to see client's reactions/first impressions, as well as help create the most amazing memories, and be a part of their special occasions.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event has been an incredible way of sourcing more clients, therefore we would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone in the events industry. We are able to get in touch with many people who perhaps know very little about us, as well as offer our expertise and knowledge to those looking for something different and unique. This platform completely broadens awareness of Tipi Unique across the North West, and has generated many leads from children's parties and weddings, to charity and corporate events. One booking in particular would be a charity event organised by NAMS. We were so honoured to have been a part of this event, and are delighted to say that it raised over £30,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. Being able to support such occasions makes us feel incredibly privileged, as we are extremely passionate about creating special days and wonderful memories. We loved adding something different to the annual event, and it shows just how flexible and versatile our tipis can be.
