What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

I provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, preferably I will need the event date, what sort of event it is that my client is hosting, where the venue is located, and what the clients expect from me on the day. Knowing all of the above answers, I can use my knowledge and skills to put together a lovely film for you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend the client to ask about the provider about the work they are offering. Make sure the providers are skilled in the work they are advertising to you. Make sure to ask the provider how long they have been a videographer for, are they as experienced as you expected them to be? Nevertheless, make sure to ask them what equipment they use, you wouldn't want a videographer turning up to your event with a camcorder! Better up to date camera equipment would 100% be more suitable.

I came up with my own business "Eleanor Louise Simply Weddings" through my passion for film 2 years ago. I had the privilege to film my friend's wedding as a test run to see if this was the path I wanted to go down, and I am so happy I did. My passion has always been providing a great service for my clients and making their dreams come to life through the film!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had a couple of bookings already through this platform, if I had to pick one, it would have to be a wedding I filmed in beautiful Suffolk as it was my first ever booking that I had made on Add to Event! It was very exciting for me as it wasn't a person I knew and it was getting real for me!
