What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief description of the type of event they are hosting, the number of expected guests, a potential venue, is it indoor or outdoor, does the planner have easy access to the venue if we need further details...
With this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and list our recommendations.
Also, we can provide a better overall customer experience

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would always suggest doing some market research into what you are looking for because there are so many people out there in the industry that will cut corners and you won't receive the best service...

Nothing worse than drunk Uncle Bob pressing play on a cd player and then trying to sign or squark out a power ballad.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Coles Balloons & Party was born out of the idea of a business venture our director had and also for him to leave something behind for his family so the business name is named after our director's son (Cole) who has learning difficulties but also likes to try and help in the office at the age of 9 years old.
Our director has many years of experience in events having worked on some big events but in a different job capacity.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Even due to the current pandemic I am still seeing a lot of requests for our type of business on this platform... I think this is one of the easiest systems to use.
