What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, we just need to know your venue, the date and time of the event, and as much detail as possible as to the goods you are looking to hire. The number of guests you are expecting can prove useful, depending on the hire items you are interested in.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be aware of some potential hidden costs, so for example, does the quote include delivery & collection and set up, you want to make sure the price you are quoted is the final price you will pay.
Ask the provider for photos, or whether you can visit to see, touch and feel the hire items, as there are often variations in the quality of goods offered to hire, which sometimes explains differences in prices
It can often be more cost-effective to look for someone who can provide all of the decorations you are looking for, giving a bundle deal", but be careful you are not hooked into a bundle deal for items you don't actually want in the first place.
Finally, think about the option of moving items from the one location to another, in particular for weddings, you may want to move something from the ceremony room/venue to the reception room/venue. Check this is OK and is there an additional charge if the hirer moves for you

We are a family run business, with a passion for providing a first-class service to our clients no matter whether it be a wedding, a birthday, a baby shower or any other special occasion or indeed a corporate event. My wife and I have combined experience in both hospitality and project management, being no stranger to pressure delivering a first-class result, whilst ensuring the needs of our clients is at the forefront of our minds.
We decided to start our business because we know we have great vision and creativity to help our clients provide an event to remember!
