For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, venue dimensions plus ceiling height if requiring venue draping ( if you have them).

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly ask as many questions as necessary as a true venue dresser will be more than happy to answer any questions and will offer to advise about their work. Also, don't be afraid to ask for pictures of their own work to give you a good idea of what they can do.
