Grooms on Time
Grooms on Time provide a wedding transport service throughout Warwickshire, specialising in classic Jaguar cars - guaranteeing that the bride or groom arrives not only safely and on time but in the most style possible. All of the cars come with the ribbons and bows already sorted and bridesmaids cars can be provided as well. The cars can remain on site for photos with the happy couple for 'going away' shots, too.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a firm quote we would need the date of the wedding, which cars you are interested in (whether for the bride or groom or both) and the addresses of where we will be picking up from and taking to.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise any prospective brides and grooms to go and look at the cars they are interested in and not just book from a website. The reason for this is so they can sit in the cars and see the quality of what they are hiring both inside and out. It's their special day and their choice of transport should be perfect to complete their wedding day. In addition, by talking to the owner (if they do the chauffeuring too) the bride and groom will already have a rapport with the driver before the day which will put them more at ease when the nerves start to take over.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Grooms on Time came about after taking a friend's son to his wedding in our family E-Type. His groomsmen's reaction was so great that we decided we could use our classic sports cars to start a business with the unique selling point of taking the often forgotten groom in style. From our very first wedding fayre the reaction was incredible with future grooms booking the cars as a treat for themselves and brides booking the E-Type as a surprise for her groom. As time went on we added another E-Type to the fleet as it was proving so popular and having been asked so many times if we had a classic Jaguar for the brides too we invested in Florence and Louie our S-Type and MK II Jaguars. Being part of someone's special day whilst driving our cars is a privilege and we just love our job! Wedding Jaguar hire is certainly our calling.
