Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My background was as a ballerina dancing around the World with English National Ballet. Once I retired from this career I wanted to find another artistic, visual profession.
I always enjoyed taking photographs so I retrained and learned the photography trade. My unique selling points are combining movement with the love of photography. I capture elegant lines and fun moments, especially spontaneity! I can direct to photograph a group shot or a passionate romantic embrace but also just let those special moments appear and I'm there recording all your precious memories.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Elaine Mayson Photography has had varied and interesting assignments on Add to Event. What I love is when you bid you usually get some feedback which is wonderful. I photographed a fun run for a hospital which I thought might be challenging but instead, it was entertaining as all the runners wanted to pose or smile for the camera. I also was able to get the sweat and action so a perfect treat!
I have photographed weddings as well through Add to Event. The couples have been so appreciative of my time and creativity. Again this has made the atmosphere relaxed and the results beautiful. I love to conjure up the story of their day in photographs whenever I start there is magic, elegance, laughter and of course romance! Perfect memories.
