What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a realistic quote I will need:
How much time I will be required for and approximate start and finish times.
Number of guests and the chosen venue, plus any special requirements you may have.
Type of Photography you would like, e.g. Traditional, Candid, Fun elements, Romantic etc.
What would you like to be included e.g. photo files on USB, Prints, Album if Wedding, Video footage, DVD picture show, Parent Albums, pre-Wedding Photo shoot,
If I am working over 6 hours will you be happy to provide food and a beverage?
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It goes without saying everyone wants great photos. But is that all you need? I believe the relationship with your photographer is nearly as important.
Confidence in your photographer to be there on time and ready for action not tweaking settings. He or she must make you feel comfortable, relaxed and you just know when you have the right person.
I believe this is your day and I am there to capture it the way you want to remember it (maybe with a bit of my added elements).
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I absolutely love photography, so I started going for it as a business in 1998, and I'm still here!
The industry has changed massively over the years from film to the digital age.
I thought it was only right to get a qualification so I studied in Swansea College and achieved a high diploma in professional photography.
I am also a qualified associate member of Adobe Photoshop making sure I get the best out of my photographs.
