What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would ideally need the event date, a brief description of the event that they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and the potential venue they have in mind. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, We urge our clients to take the time to talk and meet with a potential organizer to make sure they are meeting their needs and ideas. An event is very personal to the person that is organizing and their vision/ideas should always come first.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Atelier Wedding and Events grow out of my love of working as a Wedding Coordinator and Events manager for 13 years. I love working within the hospitality industry and seeing the different sides of running a business. My passion has always been to deliver and provide great service with always putting the client's needs first. Making sure you and your guests are left with a lasting memory that will be there for many years to come.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
There have been lots of bookings through this platform that I am personally very happy about. If I have to pick one, it would be a wedding that we planned in June 2023 from start to finish. Meeting with the bride and groom for the very first time in a small cafe, getting all their ideas together, and viewing venues with them to make sure they are getting the most out of their time. Piecing together their decor ideas and finding them the perfect cater that fits within their theme. Once this is all in place and their suppliers are booked, It's time for the big day. Watching this couple's first glance at each other as the bride walks down the aisle, always gives me goosebumps. Getting to spend one of the most precious day with a client is always a lasting memory for me.
