What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would like to give you a comprehensive quote, so it would be great if you could supply me with the following details; venue and postcode, the type of event you are hosting, is it indoor or outdoor and what services you require. I am a fully qualified wedding planner, with a Diploma in Wedding Planning who will help give your special occasion the extra special touch you expect.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check your supplier's reviews, ensure they answer calls and email within 24 hours, go and meet your supplier and get a feel for them, ask what sort of events they have been a part of, ask for photos of their work, check them out and ask to view the goods that they are supplying for you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
At Jays Special Events we started as wedding car specialists, we have supplied cars for over 500 weddings. I was a foster carer while helping my husband with meeting and greeting customers and answering their emails and giving wedding information. When I gave up fostering I decided to do my Diploma in Wedding Planning and I myself have completed over 700 weddings and Special Occasions in the last 4yrs, ensuring your special event goes without a hitch.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
After joining Add to Event I have had a number of requests, I carefully choose where I go and keep our distance to 30 miles. Add to Event send me emails with requests from potential clients, the reviews I have received through Add to Event has been a brilliant part of my business, it has helped me reach many more clients.
