What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To offer the best possible package that both you and your guests will love, tell me how many guests you're hosting, what your event is all about, what you want your yurt for and where you are...I'll put a quote together based on that information for you.

Whether it's a dinner party for sixty, a luxury glamping experience for a group of friends or a large event yurt for corporate clients, we have the perfect yurt and interior for your event. Tables, chairs, sofas, chandeliers, Persian rugs, wood burning stoves, we have them all. Choose whatever you want and we'll deliver your personalised interior along with your yurt.

Access to site is important..in most cases we deliver using a LWB van and the closer to the build site the better...some of the components of the yurt such as the solid oak doors are heavy, let me know if we're going to need extra help so that we can deliver, build and furnish your yurt in plenty of time for your event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Roundhouse Yurts was born out of a passion for all things yurts. For nearly fifteen years we've been making and hiring our yurts at events all over the country. From our workshop at the foothills of The Black Mountains in Herefordshire, we source local oak and ash for our frames and doors and spend several hundred hours handcrafting each yurt.

What keeps us wanting to do this year after year is the immense pleasure and fun people get from having their event in one of our yurts..

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Pre Covid, we had some really great bookings through Add to Event and met some memorable people, including one booking for a load of glamping yurts for a family get together. The farm location and the lack of fences on the farm meant the guests ended up sharing their accommodation with various sheep, goats and even an inquisitive calf throughout the week if they forgot to close their doors. We've never minded dogs ever since!

Now we're starting to think about next year and being busier again... and Add to Event is our first stop on that journey. We've always recommended the platform to people looking for hospitality providers and providers themselves. It's a platform that really works for everyone and can definitely grow your business.
