Ok - so we love food like we REALLY love food!!!! That’s our mantra. Food brings people together, facilitates conversation, gives a sense of family, makes memories, and brings a sense of nostalgia, place and time. There is no occasion, meeting or celebration which cannot be enhanced by good wholesome food. And that’s why we’re so good at what we do – because we love food. Our aim is to wow your guests and help to make your event unforgettable.
We have over 30 years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry so you can rest easy that your event will be in safe hands. We have a wide knowledge of different cuisines and can build a bespoke menu for your occasion. We also want to ensure that you will be happy with what is served on the day, therefore, we offer to sample free of charge so there are no unexpected surprises.
We work with a number of blue-chip companies on the corporate catering side of things which means our services always have to be professional and on point. However, when we do our private event catering for weddings, baby showers, dinner parties, etc, you can see our creativity shine through. We love making menus of different cuisines, cultures, and themes. We like to get to know our clients and will treat your event as one of our own.

Fantastic Caterers Highly Recommended!
Proper Food Gourmet Caterers catered for a sit down meal, canapes and the evening reception for our wedding and we would highly recommend them to anyone. The food was fantastic and the flexibility that they gave us in terms of menu choices was far above our expectations. We thought it was a lovely added extra that Lisa and Jim came to our house and provided a tasting of our menu items. This was a wonderful experience and let us make any small changes to perfect our chosen menu, making it absolutely perfect on the day. We were extremely happy with the quality of the food and the service that was provided and had lots of lovely compliments from our guests too. Thank you very much!

Great service and lovely food
First time using Proper Food Gourmet Caterers for our training day lunch and the experience was faultless. Great communication and advice on what food we'd require and volume from the first contact right through to delivery. Food arrived on time, perfectly presented and was enjoyed by all. Very high quality of food for the price.
Fabulous service and incredible food!!
The team were so helpful right from the point of booking, keen to work with me to choose menu options that would suit all my guests at the same time, and even recommending options to me! On the day the guys wouldn't even let me lift a finger to help and took care of all the set up, serving and clearing up as well as cooking and serving the most wonderful meal!! Lee was even offering to serve the drinks and top people's glasses up for me!! My guests could not stop raving about it, would 110% book again, I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone for an event!!! Thank you so much for making our night so special!!
