Banh Mi Baby

Banh Mi Baby serves Vietnamese street food inspired dishes that makes use of seasonal produce which are nourishing and good for the soul. Our main products are filled baguettes (Banh Mi) with a choice of meat, fish and vegetarian/vegan fillings but we can offer alternative Vietnamese inspired dishes to cater for any event (from spring/summer rolls to fresh zingy salads and warming curries).

Banh Mi Baby began trading in August 2023 selling our Banh Mis at Walthamstow Sunday Social / between September and December 2023.We are registered with LB Redbridge as a food business and have a 4* food hygiene rating. We also have Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering Certificates. We have employer and public/product liability insurance covering up to £10m.

Sam’s passion for food began with watching and helping his dad in the kitchen, as well as sitting down to TV cookery shows with him - Keith Floyd being a particular highlight. Asia has a big influence on his food particularly the emphasis of big flavours and fresh ingredients, a nod to his Vietnamese heritage. Sam loves the craft of making food that nourishes, is wholesome and are crowd pleasers! After 10+ years working in finance and accounting he made his passion a reality in 2022 by qualifying with a diploma from Leith’s School of Food and Wine and freelancing in event catering, street food and meal delivery preparation for a charity.
