Barefaced Food

We're a small independent business based in Ayr. We started making plant-based Buddha bowls for delivery in January 2020 and since then our business has grown to include our bakery and coffee house premises which we opened in July 2021, our plant-based workshops and our catering services all of which let us spread the plant-based love!

We pride ourselves on the vibrancy of our food; we're all about the colour, flavour, texture and fragrance. With our catering services we use all of this to showcase the best of the plant world for you and your guests, creating food which is delicious, nutritious, sustainable and completely stress free. Whether it's a small gathering, a corporate lunch or a larger celebration we have catering options which are sure to impress. Given no gathering is complete without something sweet, we also offer a range of beautiful hand-made, artisan plant-based cakes baked in our very own bakery.
