Bumblebee Creperie

Bumblebee Creperie was created from a seed sown on a romantic break in Paris where the local street food was dominated by the crêpe. Some years later, after a career in teaching, the opportunity to pursue this idea was taken and an H van was acquired.

On the 8th May 1968, a Citroen H-Van was registered to monsieur Urvoy just outside of Paris, France.

Fast forward 39 years and that same vehicle has ended up in Britain, renovated and converted into a mobile crêperie.

The iconic vehicle still retains it’s 1960’s, Parisian charm from the outside whilst housing a thoroughly modern kitchen within.

From the offset it has been our intention to use locally sourced and produced fillings to, not only help sustain our local businesses but also to open eyes (and mouths) to the wealth of food options available in Yorkshire and the North East.

We are frequent attenders at Stewart Park with Northern Dales Farmers Markets and provide food at other events and festivals as well as providing an eye-catching food alternative for weddings.
