ALL THE GEAR….

Hi, welcome and many thanks for popping by...I’m Angie and my current status in the world of wedding photography is that of a fledgling photographer,(in other words a novice, a newbie, an amateur, totally inexperienced… in fact, to be brutally honest, I have literally just fallen out of the nest!…..So, that’s me and hopefully you get the picture (excuse the pun)!

I can imagine that my opening paragraph has led to shakes of the head and thoughts of “oh look, another wannabe wedding photographer” and possibly conjured up in your mind the good old saying “all the gear and no idea!”…Well, I fully understand, it would be niave of me not to expect that sort of reaction.

However, it is my hope, that by being honest and transparent about the level that I am at, it will be much easier to manage people’s expectations as to what I can and cannot do. My philosophy is that I would much rather exceed expectations every time than portray myself as an experienced wedding photographer and come tumbling off that pedestal and disappoint anyone.

So, how did my journey start…well I have just returned from an intensive hands-on wedding photography course where I learnt so much about composition, lighting, posing and capturing the candid moments of a wedding day and I have to say I am absolutely buzzing with excitement…So..

I am looking for couples who are prepared to book me as their wedding photographer….those that accept that I am a ‘newbie’ with limited experience but who are happy to give me the opportunity to take the photos on their big day - I am offering to cover your wedding day from bride prep through to first dance for only £200 – this includes a minimum 100 hi-res digital images in both printable and social media ready format….ideal for showcasing your day on Facebook.
