Chopbox is an independent event and wedding caterer based near Truro, Cornwall, run by a friendly and experienced team with a shared passion for exceptional food, bold flavours, and professional service. With a wealth of experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and events industry, we know what works and how to create memorable meals and food experiences that will enhance any event, be it a wedding, birthday party, corporate event or crew catering.

Cornwall’s West Country offers a bounty of outstanding produce, from exceptional meats and seafood to fresh fruits, vegetables, and artisanal products like local cheeses, sourdoughs, and Cornish charcuterie. Our menus celebrate this incredible local bounty, showcasing the very best of what the region has to offer.

​We honour our ingredients with a cooking style that elevates their natural flavours. Using BBQ grills and wood-fired smokers, we slow-cook meats and vegetables over charcoal, creating mouthwatering textures and deep, smoky flavours. We love serving food "family-style"—hearty BBQ platters, feasting plates of fresh salads, and sides—inviting your guests to share in the experience. We also offer buffet-style options, canapés, finger buffets, and late-night snacks, with flexibility to create bespoke menus to suit your event.

​Chopbox is a versatile and eco-conscious catering company, dedicated to sustainable practices and supporting local farmers and producers. We pride ourselves on offering seasonally inspired menus that emphasise quality, flavour, and the best of Cornwall.

We provide BBQ catering for all types of events including weddings, birthdays, corporate events and also crew catering for film crews or performances. We have years of event catering experience between us and can cater for up to 120 guests with our BBQ menu for seated meals or a buffet. For smaller numbers or more casual events we offer a delivery service of our BBQ menu, we can provide canapes only or finger buffets for parties or wedding evening food.
