About Dim Sum Su
At last – Chinese food you can eat with your hands! On the move, on the go, standing up or sitting down, Dim Sum Su is delicious genuine Chinese food that’s perfect for parties, weddings, corporate events and business occasions – because it doesn’t require knives, forks or chopsticks, and can be eaten as you walk, talk and socialise. Choose from a variety of fresh hand-made dumplings (‘wontons’), spring rolls, steamed buns – and much more - crammed with an exciting range of savoury fillings.
Dim Sum Su’s dishes are prepared fresh by Sue Chiu-Fan Lee, an accomplished chef and expert in genuine ethnic Chinese food. Born in Hong Kong and raised in the UK, Sue Lee is from a family of celebrated cooks and restaurateurs, and her Dim Sum recipes are inspired both by her Chinese ancestral food traditions, and by her UK family of brilliant cooks and restaurateurs.
Dim Sum food plays an essential role in Cantonese and Chinese food – but instead of being served in large dishes for sharing at a table, Dim Sum is traditionally served in handy, easy-to-eat bite-sized portions contained in small steamer baskets or on small plates.
Dim Sum Su serves a wide range of Dim Sum food, based on traditional recipes, but with variations and additions based on Sue Lee’s family recipes and her own cooking experiences; these include Japanese, Far East Colonial and a variety of other oriental culinary styles.
