DJ Broadhurst

DJ Daniel Broadhurst is a multi-genre DJ from Manchester who has held residencies at venues in Bolton, Wigan & Manchester for over 10 years. Over 10 years ago he started off promoting and indie & rock music club night in Bolton alongside John William Leather called Kico Club.

They moved on from the club and DJ Broadhurst went on to play a wide range of venues in Manchester such as Artisan, Alchemist New York Street, Dry Bar, Lock 91, Mahiki, Be At One and School for Scandal. More recently he has residencies with Be At One Manchester, The Ivy Manchester and Blind Tiger Bury.

DJ Broadhurst now plays anything from R&B, House, Disco, Soul & Motown, Indie Rock to create a party atmosphere where ever he is playing. Picking music from the 60’s right through to the modern day popular chart music.

DJ Broadhurst now works with Genre Music DJ Agency where he has become a weekly Resident DJ at some of the finest bars in Manchester. Daniel has been able to start expressing his love for House, Dance, R&B, Disco, Funk, Soul and Electronic music at these venues. He also still plays Indie Rock music at popular club nights at Blind Tiger Bury.

Daniel has been a professional DJ for over 10 years delivering a diverse style of music across a host of venues throughout the North West of England. It started notably with an indie residency at Kico Club Bolton for 5 years (2007-2012), which was featured on BBC 6 music by Steve Lamacq in 2008, XFM by Clint Boon several times, and in other local publications including The Bolton News. He has also worked in venues in Wigan, Leigh and Lancaster over the years. Daniel has been a regular at Y Not? Festival since 2015, and also performed at Beatherder, Into The Wild, The Big Grill UK and the Re:Wind Festivals in Scotland, Cheshire and Henley-on-Thames. With shows announced in 2019 for Y Not?, Kendall Calling and Bluedot Festival.
