Years of DJ experience & being around the rave, club and party scene since 1987 means DJMaVX knows when to play the big drop, when to funk, or to lighten things with a healthy dose of uplifting piano vibes or phase that bass to a sub shattering vibration. Knowing how to create a musical vibe to gently lift the crowd, either warming them up, or taking them on into the early evening and into the peak takes more than track selection.
Smooth transitions, hard switch drops and extended builds. Delivering in-phase classic or fresh vocals to buoy out an atmosphere can fill a room with love and energy. Sometimes it's simply about a musical backdrop for any environment.

The acid house revolution in 87 ( UK) is when it all started for DJMaVX and the rave scene - then - and into the 90's - was where you would have found him, as a raver, a dancer and then onto the decks spinning tunes in house parties & small venues before he ran a three year residency as DJ Shimmee at Keele University. Together with Dan & Jim of the scallywag Yoof he delivered night after night of banging tunes and mashed up madness. For whater reason he came away from music for a decade or so and picked it up again many years ago where once more its been an absolute blast playing in some really fantastic spots. Previous one off gigs, & regular residency venues have loved the vibe I bring. Although based out of Alsager, UK I will travel where ever is needed and have been lucky to play long residency spells along the coast at Costa Blanca in Spain in recent years.
