About Ed's Kitchen
We are a mobile, high-specification kitchen. Our U S P is providing our Customers with top quality, locally sourced produce, cooked to order. We offer English breakfast items (eg smoked, back bacon, Cumberland sausages, steak burgers, free-range eggs). Other specialities are: retro hot-dogs, light lunches and a variety of cold snacks and drinks. We offer vegetarian and 100% vegan options, eg omelette, pancakes and flat-field mushroom burger) . We are Eco-aware and promote the use of biodegradable cups, plates and cutlery to our customers. We also offer 'seasonal specials' eg Mexican beef / veggi chilli).
Because we are a mobile Kitchen we have the potential to cater for a variety of bespoke menus, to clients dietary wishes and needs. We hold a 5 Star E H O food hygiene rating (Rother Council) and are NCASS members and trained to Level 3. We also hold a current HACCP Level 1 and 2. All of our certificates are visible in the Kitchen to promote Customer confidence.
We currently cook in a layby, Monday to Friday, where the demand is for English breakfast-type rolls, baguettes and sandwiches. On Saturdays we have a pitch in the Norman's Bay Caravan and Camping Club where we cater for holidaymakers. Our quarter pound, half pound steak burgers, bacon 'sizzlers' and retro 'dogs' loaded with fried onions are very popular! We are happy to discuss customer requirements and create bespoke menus for their special occasion.
Our business (our Van) has a highly visible, fun, friendly 'branding'. We add individual decorations to our bespoke 'look' when catering for special occasions. We personalize our service to meet the characteristics of our Customers, where possible; for a recent birthday party we added pink and purple ribbons to our Ed's Kitchen bunting because it was our Customer's favourite colour.
Overall, Ed's Kitchen is ready to cook-up a storm (quoting a Customer's review) at events within Sussex and Kent (if we are available!)
