Ermine Street Ceilidh Band

Our name comes from ancient Roman Road of Ermine Street, now the A15 running through Lincolnshire, and is where we are based.

We like to think (i.e. hope!) we have gained quite a reputation for our "toe-tapping" unique blend of guitar, melodion, fiddle, whistle and 5 string banjo. Our latest line-up straddles the generations, keeping alive traditional folk music and dance for all age groups. And please don't be put off by the fiddlers' young ages; their sound is absolutely top notch.
