I started my business after I spent my first year working for a beautiful barn in Titchfield, Hampshire. During this time I had the privilege of meeting clients, suppliers and other likeminded people in the industry (many of which I'm proud to call my friend now) it was a result of these conversations where I realised I could take all my passions and turn them into something tangible, and so Events By Sophie B was born. I have worked with huge companies, - The Intershell Group, Sant Fraed house and The Old Walls Collection, Gunwharf Quays, , NEC, London Olympia (to name a few) and many small family ran businesses -The Great Barn, Rockfeild Barn, Bembridge Sailing Club, Royal Yacht Squadron. In my 10 years in the events industry I quickly realised that no two events are the same, no two clients, My business is tailored completely to you and your event - the personal approach is always better and no task will be too much.
We have several services on offer; Corporate event planning and management; Wedding planning and on the day coordination; or Content Creation for social media.

Wedding Planning; Ive worked with over 300 couples, helped them plan their day and ran their wedding. Ive worked with hotels, barns, farms and lovely country houses. Festival style weddings, intimate celebrations. Planned sushi spreads for foodies or helped turn over burgers for those who wanted to keep it casual. My couples have been members of the LGBTQ+ community, Pagan, Jewish and Christian. They have come from all walks of life and all had dramatically different budgets. I work with everyone and anyone with one message at the forefront; Kindness and inclusitivioty conquers all.
The corporate side of my business is slightly different; whilst keeping the 'eventsbysophie' ethos. Ive planned Food festivals, antiques shows, toolfairs, Christmas fairs and Ive worked with just about every events space in the country. If you have a concept, but no idea how to enact it, if your outsource your events needs, I am professional, courteous and add personality and flare to every event I plan.
