I was born in Cape Town, went to Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland and have been cooking for over thirty years.
I ran Finns on Chelsea Green from 1990-2000, one of the few delicatessens and catering companies in London at the time which was modelled on Dean & Deluca in New York. Clients travelled from far and wide for our food which they often fobbed off as their own, lapping up the compliments from their guests with gusto.
I spent a year on super yachts in The Caribbean and The Med cooking for demanding HNW clients.
Since 2000 I have run my own catering business, Food Glorious Food. Making people happy with food brings me great joy and I love what I do.

Typical Clients
For over thirty years I've cooked for royalty and rockstars, but more often than not, I provide delicious lunches & dinners for lovely families, all of whom become regular clients.
My greatest passion is making canapés for parties which are served by my wonderful team of butlers and waitresses, most of whom have worked for me for twenty years. I love creating beautiful platters of food which are always admired by guests at our events.
My freezer food is useful for people with busy lives and is an excellent gift for anyone needing a little TLC while recovering from illness or a lovely treat for a new mum after the birth of a baby.

Beth and her team made our special day so easy and enjoyable. I really appreciated Beth's calm professionalism and helpful advice throughout the process of planning and on the day itself. The food was delicious and plentiful and her catering and waiting team were excellent – our guests regularly commented on both. After Beth and her team had left we would not have known they had been there. We could not have asked for more - thank you!

What a great night! And it was made by the efforts of Beth and her team. The food was amazing. Beth made the most delicious canapes (particularly liked the crab cakes, and the feta with filo and honey), followed by a sit down meal. Delicious chicken and salmon, and the warm salads were to die for. And where do I start on the dessert canapes? You simply must try the meringues with lemon mascarpone and raspberries (excuse me as I rhapsodise). Beth makes really interesting food, with great flavours, and she has lots of ideas to help you choose what will work best for your event. Her support team (Florence and Ali) were also absolutely lovely and juggled serving, clearing up and generally being helpful all evening. I'd highly recommend!
It was incredible and very well organised.
We have 11 different canapes for 40 guests as a meal and everyone was delicious. The range of choice Beth offers together with the quality is amazing. Beth helped with suggestions and additional staff to make the party run incredibly smoothly. I have never hosted a party where so many people have commented on what good quality the food was. All the guests were very full by the end of the party and amount was perfectly calculated with a few dessert canapes left over. I really could not recommend Beth and Food Glorious Food more and will be using them again.

Beth and her team did an amazing job catering for 23 people for my 30th birthday! The food was amazing, and this was echoed by all of my guests. We had canape starters, a fabulous selection of side/salads served alongside chicken and salmon, followed by dessert canapes/sharing platters. They arrived promptly, left the kitchen tidy, and kept drinks topped up all night. A huge thank you for for a wonderful evening - I didn't lift a finger once!
