I am an independent celebrant based in the heart of the East Yorkshire countryside. I love it here, but more than willing to travel!

After a lifetime of trying different industries, and trying to find a career that was truly fulfilling and uplifting, trying the Military, Retail, Sales, Health and Safety, and even Teaching. I was at a loss.

Out of the blue, my sister and her partner asked me if I would write and conduct their wedding ceremony. It was important for me to be fully prepared and professional, especially as I would know everyone in attendance. So, I carried out the full training with the Association of Wedding Celebrants and spent the following months writing and rewriting the perfect ceremony. I was nervous at first, but the day was... incredible! I will never forget the feeling of pride that came from
celebrating a couples love for one another.

Whether it’s weddings, vow renewals or naming ceremonies. I am a hopeless romantic and believe in LOVE. What I have with my partner Karen, I wish everyone could find and feel the same, and if they have what we have then marriage is the answer.

My favourite films are usually romantic ones, where after a tough journey the guy finds the girl because that definitely reflects my journey. 50 First Dates proves that love will conquer all, Forever young proves that love will wait and Moulin Rouge states that "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return.
