John Constantine offers high quality magic and entertainment at events and special occasions. John’s excellent magic, friendly manner and humorous approach ensures that all your friends, guests, and visitors have a great experience. He is a full-time professional (95% are part time) and a member of Leicester Magic Circle for over 20 years, travelling nationwide. John is also a member of Equity, the performers association.
You can expect at least 2 hours of top quality ‘close up’ magic (often longer) to your guests whether they are at dinner tables or standing and chatting informally over drinks. A specialist service is also offered at trade show exhibition stands (details on request). John Constantine offers the option to include a ‘stand up’ comedy magic act (cabaret style) from the front of the room with everyone watching together. John is a specialist for your event - weddings, adult birthdays and business events (not children's parties) - one of the very few who specialise in this way. You can be sure that John's skills and experience are 100% relevant to your event.

John gave an excellent performance. His quiet and "gentle" approach to his audience was perfect for both the audience and the time of day (afternoon) in which it was delivered. He was equally proficient in delivering the show with humour and efficiency being able to entertain as much as amaze the audience with his magic. I would book him again, without hesitation for a similar occasion and recommend him to others.

We commissioned John for our University society ball and he bemused and charmed all with acts that, even close up, we were completely at a loss to explain. Not a mean fete with an audience of that many scientists! During welcome he milled in the welcome area enchanting everyone and generating quite a crowd. As we moved through to dinner, he performed at table but at all times was considerate and sensitive to mood. He communicated well in advance, advising us on the best way to get the most out of our evening, arrived well before time and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We would thoroughly recommend you contact him to discuss your events, big or small. Thank you John, it was a pleasure! Rematch soon?!
Professional and very competent entertainer.
John provided table magic during our meal and a stand up show afterwards. We were a goup of about twenty friends celebrating the relaxation of Covid restrictions in a private dining room at our hotel in Rutland. He was vey attentive to our needs, discussing our requirements and adjusting his performance accordingly, both beforehand and as the evening panned out so that he dovetailed seamlessly around the meal service and our mood.
John was so good involving everyone
