Let the Music Play is a Worcestershire, England-based company offering DJ services for weddings and events.All equipment is cutting age state of the art and creates a real wow.
I am the owner (Jan Blazak) and have been DJing my entire adult life. I have travelled internationally and played at festivals, clubs, and bars, specialising in dance/house music. I have been lucky enough to grace many a stage during a long career but I have happily settled into life as a multi genre mobile DJ, albeit still carrying a passion for Dance Music which I still create and produce.
I will however play the music you want to hear and I really do understand the importance of ensuring that each individually crafted sound track is bespoke to YOU and perfect for realising YOUR vision. I take playlists and I take requests but I limit playlists to 50 songs which equates to 2 ½ hours. I am a DJ not a Jukebox and you are paying me to read the floor and get the music right for everyone
I aim to provide a friendly, professional, and fun experience for everyone at you party. Whether you envision a romantic evening swaying on the dance floor or a club-worthy night, I will match your style perfectly and realise your chosen sound track with style and panache.
If you ONLY want music from the 80s or before I am probably not the right DJ for you. As previously stated I excel playing current music and dance music so I am really looking for customers who will also enjoy the more up to date sounds. In particular I am smashing Garage, R&B, Drum & Bass, House, Vocal House, Disco, classic 90s dance, and even Techno. That is what I excel at. That is what I enjoy. I am obviously happy playing lots of other stuff but I don’t enjoy gigs when the playlist is limited solely to older tunes.
Whatever your style, I will work with you on a playlist that sets the tone for an unforgettable night.

Exactly what we wanted
Jan did a fantastic job for my daughter’s 16th Birthday, we sent him a playlist of songs a week before so he knew the music she wanted. Jan did a quick check on the village hall we had hired the day before to make sure things went smoothly on the day and he arrived on time to start setting up. On his advice, a couple of songs weren’t played due to them being difficult to dance to and he added a couple in that seemed to go down well. My daughter had a fantastic night and the dance floor was buzzing. I can highly recommend Jan, it’s not an easy task pleasing a large group of 16 year olds!
Let the music Play were fantastic!
Jan provided the music for 80 guests at my 70th. The age range was 2 to 78 and he catered for every taste from 5pm until midnight. The last 3 hours was great dance music filling the dance floor in the marquee. Jan was great to work with and he really cares about chosing the music to suit the varied tastes. Great job! Positive but some tech issues
Jan was incredibly attentive to the whole experience. He met with us twice online and created his own playlists based on our needs, tweaking after feedback. He was able to move things around at the drop of a hat. The music was perfect. The reason it isn’t a full five starts is that we did have some mic issues which meant there were some moments of feedback and poor quality of sound: however, contextually this was a complicated wedding with lots of moving things around in a very large space. He has so much he wants to do and it is clear that his passion is to make the customer happy. This would be perfect for a prom, disco or larger birthday celebration.
Absolutely amazing!!
Everything went really smoothly! There was a huge age range of people so wasn’t sure what type of music people would want to get up and dance too so I pretty much left it up to Jan to read the room and wow did he manage that!! Most of our guests haven’t seen each other for a very long time so when it all kicked off people were more interested in talking and catching up. It looked like there would be no dancing at one point! BUT Jan pulled it out the bag and got everyone up and dancing with his awesome song choices! I want another party now so we can do it all again Thank you thank you thank you!!
