About Outerstage
Our Stageline SL50 is a big mobile stage but with a small footprint. With a floor area of 6M wide and 5M deep most bands can fit easily. When fully rigged it only uses a footprint as small as 8 metres by 7 metres so can fit in to some busy city centres or harbour locations without taking up space needed for the audience. With a roof rigging capacity of over 1000kg there is no reason to skimp on the sound and lights to make your show really stand out and we work with some of the South West's best sound and lighting suppliers. The roof slopes from front to back providing for excellent acoustics. The front of the roof can be set at 4 or 4.5 metres from the ground level and there are special flying points at either side for flying your speakers so they don't take up valuable floor space.
The SL50 is mostly made from aluminium so it very lightweight (under 2000kg) which makes it efficient to tow but also means it causes less damage than an SUV when installed on a grassy area.
Our stage has been used for a number of applications both inside and out from rock gig to business presentations and from static cycle racing to a classical orchestra concert. We even use it for outdoor cinema with a projector or for hanging an LED wall for daytime advertising.
Being based in the South West of England means we take looking after our environment seriously and we have two Honda EU6500is generators that run on propane and are seriously quiet and suited to running sensitive electrical kit. Propane does not produce the particulates that a Diesel generator produces and is much more efficient.
Although based in the Plymouth we can take it anywhere and our stage is approved for use in Westminster by the Borough Council.
