Steve's love for Indian cuisine began with his grandmother's cooking, inspiring him to try making these dishes himself. Whenever possible, he travels to India to discover incredible street food to bring back to Manchester. Patels Pies aims to serve Indian food with a twist, making everything fresh and from scratch.

Born out of lockdown to critical acclaim, Patels Pies started by supplying handmade Indian-inspired pies to delis, shops, bars, and breweries across the Northwest. Before this, Steve ran 'Vaso Kitchen,' his Indian street food business that began in 2016.
