Ruby Tunes is the Mobile Disco run by Ian Sawyer, resident DJ at Moles Club's "The Big Cheese", Bath's longest running club night.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional service and ensuring that the customer is 100% satisfied. To that effect, we believe that communication before the event is paramount so that neither the customer or ourselves have any nasty surprises on the day! We aim to provide a tailor-made service so you can get on with the serious business of enjoying the party!
We like to think that we offer a slightly different approach to the myriad of mobile discos that are available, and as a small operation, we can provide the attention to detail that every event deserves.
We are one of the Recommended Suppliers for Bath's Historic Venues which includes the world-famous Roman Baths, Pump Rooms and Assembly Rooms
Ruby Tunes' resident DJ Ian Sawyer has over twenty years experience DJ-ing at nightclubs and venues in the Bath and Bristol area.
Ian is a validated member of the National Association Of Disc Jockeys which ensures that all its members have Public Liability Insurance and proof of current Portable Appliance Testing. He also has an MCPS-PPL Professional Dubbing (ProDub) Licence.

Ian is a true professional of his craft. Prior to our wedding he was always easy to communicate with and would reply quick and prompt. Changes were made day before and Ian accommodated and adapted without hesitation. On the day itself he was a pleasure to have there. His set-up was immaculate and all ready for the evening. Fantastic dj!
Ian was great. He arrived on time and set up quickly without any fuss. He played our first dance song and allowed us to borrow a microphone to play the Mr and Mrs game. He asked in advance for suggestions of songs we liked. He used our suggestions and added some of his own in. Everyone loved the music - including the venue staff- and the dance floor was filled all night! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ian for any disco!
Absolutely amazing
Absolutely incredible, read the room really well and was playing absolutely the right music. The set up was great too. He took our lead on length of time and we are so pleased with our choice. Thank you so much.
