SmokeyOkey is a family-run BBQ catering business started by married couple Okey and Chinelo. We specialize in low and slow cooking over charcoal, wood or gas, which gives our dishes that distinct and delicious flavour. We provide a professional service from start to finish and are fully compliant with all our Health & Safety and Food Safety certificates.
When booking SmokeyOkey you have the option of two different setups; our Market-Stall setup or our vintage converted horsebox setup, which comes with a bespoke BBQ deck allowing guests to view their food being prepared and cooked. Both setups are always a great talking point at events.
SmokeyOkey offers a range of different options and flavours, when booking, including any special requests. A full menu is available upon request.

Couldn’t ask for more! 5 stars all the way!
Brilliant. Every single guest loved the food. The ribs which are smoked in his own flavouring were absolutely delicious. The best I have ever had. All our guests mentioned how fantastic the food was. Beyond the food, he really added to the wedding. The setup was great. He added a real spark to the evening. Extremely friendly and a great personality. The weather was horrendous and created a challenge but he was so flexible and came through for us by serving earlier than we had originally planned. To top it off, he came and found me at the end of the night to give me some ribs to takeaway. First class service. Couldn’t ask for more. Fantastic service, fantastic food and great value. Highly recommend to book for wedding or any event.

Used Smokey Okey for husbands 30th birthday surprise, the communication was great before hand. Able to be flexible around the menu, the food was delicious!! Okey was so lovely, came in and set up and cooked to our specified time (and in the rain!). The wooden frame looked great also. Would recommend and use again! Thanks, Lara.

Food was delicious and so easy to book with them! Easy booking process, turned up in plenty if time and was very accommodating at our staff do. Food was loved by all! Thank you so much!
Exceeded expectations!
I can't speak highly enough of Okey and what a great job he did with the hog roast for my husbands 40th! He is so relaxed, a great professional, excellent with curious children and all their questions and best of all the meat with succulent and full of flavour! The set up is great too. It is a Street food stand and it adds to the party atmosphere. All of our guests raved about the food and had seconds and thirds. No shortage of meat :) at the end there was left overs and Okey did take away plates for our guests. An all round hit and we will be calling Okey for all our future hog roasts!
Amazing gourmet burgers!
We will definitely consider having Smokey Okey back at next Howdens Trade Day!. The service was great and all our customer and staff loved the food, some came back for seconds. A massive Thanks from the Manager and Team.
