Sprig and Thistle are a North East based wedding florist and event decoration company, specialising in beautiful wedding blossoms and decadent decorations. With over two years worth of industry experience in dressing venues across the North East, we are a young company with a flair for creativity and knowledge behind current trends, whilst understanding the need to meet high expectations for your big day.

Having personally dressed over 100 weddings at venues such as Newton Hall, Le Petit Chateau, The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and Matfen Hall, we are able to recommend the appropriate style to suit your personal taste, whilst complementing your surroundings.

We offer a range of services, however, there are two main focuses in our work; floristry and hire items.

Our hire items are mainly occupants to your flowers, for example, vases, table runners and chair backs. However, we do understand that every wedding needs to be unique, therefore we offer a number of different styling props to guide this process, including elegant, rustic and industrial styled decorations.

Our floristry is tailored around you and your wedding ideas. We provide a tailor-made experience by offering a free appointment, where you will have a designated time to talk through your flowers and expectations for your big day. The appointment will enable us to work with you to develop your ideas, individual style and to turn your dreams into a reality.

Some examples of the floristry we can provide are bridal bouquets, buttonholes, flower crowns, hair flowers, page boy/flower girl floristry, corsages, ceremony, flowers, fireplace arrangements, long & lows, staircase arrangements, centrepieces, top table floristry.

We provide Floristry and Hire Styling for weddings and events in the North East of England. With over 3 years experience in the industry, we have the experience and knowledge to cater to you and your events needs.
