Hello! We’re Mel and Sam.

Two old friends, setting out on one exciting adventure together.

The AlcoBox.

A wonderfully quirky Rice Horse Box converted into an even more wonderfully magical travelling bar, stocked with gorgeous gins and tonics, super spirits, world class wines, local beers and lots more – ready to hoof if off to festivals and fairs, shows and markets and yes, your private parties and corporate events! We also have a pop up bar made from reclaimed wood which adds to our rustic style!

When we saw that the AlcoBox was up for sale by Andy and Danielle, who designed and built it but needed to gallop off to look after their other businesses, we simply couldn’t resist taking the reins. We were on track to realising our dream of going into business together – and here we are, champing at the bit to race around and bring a brand new mobile bar experience to you.

We’re hot to trot and planning to lead the field with drinks to delight and an unexpected South American twist (Mel is half Venezuelan: there’s not a lot of that around here!). With lots of bookings already, the going is very good – so if you’re looking for something different and fun, your best bet is The AlcoBox!
