Our manager, Pina Braithwaite, is a City and Guilds qualified cake designer and chocolatier.

Pina started out making cakes for her family and friends; this quickly grew into a full-time occupation after she earned her qualifications at catering college. The Cake Box has since earned an excellent reputation for its high standard of customer care, commitment and quality service, with recommendations from many venues and private customers.

The Cake Box specialises in making bespoke, luxury wedding cakes, chocolate cakes, cupcakes, desserts and cookies for all occasions. We pride ourselves on our unique design, attention to detail, and exquisite flavours.

Each customer is offered a personalised service, which includes a complimentary private consultation and full assistance with the design process. Appointments can be arranged at convenient times, including evenings and weekends.

If a customer wants a surprise cake at short notice to celebrate an informal occasion, we will do our very best to help with a simple design, discuss features over the phone and deliver within 24 hours.

On the day of the special event, we provide delivery and set up service to ensure a high standard of presentation to meet customer expectations. We absolutely love being part of our customers special occasions and appreciate that it is all about creating a day to remember.
