The Chicken Strip

We are a family run business who pride ourselves on great customer service and fantastic freshly cooked chicken and chips.

Our buttermilk chicken is sourced from our local butcher and is all hand prepped, marinated and dusted in our gluten free signature coating, then cooked to order. Our menu is simple but tasty and you won't go hungry! Offering a big chicken wrap, burger, strip dog or the original chicken strips. Our chips are also gluten free and cooked separately from our chicken.

We also offer a vegetarian option of our "Big Chip Wrap" and our new vegan "Cauli-bites" which are just as much of a hit as our chicken!

Both vans are unique in character and always receive amazing comments and looks wherever we go.

"Betty" our first van is a classic 1970's Bedford CF which started life as a camper van, had been left neglected and stood for years until we came along and rescued her. She is now back out of retirement and full of life and loves being a part of the food truck scene.

"Hilda" our newest van is a converted 90's school bus and again was left standing, not loved and was destined to be forgotten until we adopted her. She has been completely overhauled and looks amazing. Both Betty and Hilda compliment each other with their designs and slowness in speed, but they will both make you smile and you'll have having them at your event.

We have traveled to various counties including Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and our home county of Essex to cater for a wide range of events. So far we have catered for charity days, classic car events, private addresses, corporate days, weddings, food and drink festivals and anything in between.
