The Flour Fairy

Whatever the occasion everyday is better with cake.

My name is Michelle and I have been baking and decorating cakes as a hobby for many years. I moved to South Africa in 1991 for employment and travel. I met and married my husband and had three boys. At the time, character and celebration cakes weren't readily available. So I decided to make my own. I soon started helping friends with their own masterpieces.

Once I returned to the U.K, I started full time retail work and life became very busy for a few years and my passion for baking had to be put on hold.

Something in my life changed and I needed something to focus on. I decided to start baking again. So with encouragement from friends and family I'm steadily building a very varied portfolio of cakes that I'm told taste as delicious as they are creative.
