We started the “The Gourmet Griddle” with one sole aim to create The best event food on planet earth!

In 2014 we started smashing our street food from a pop-up gazebo, before saving enough pennies to build our first vintage BBQ trailer, we had great success with “POPPY” but soon had to upgrade to a larger unit & purchase “MACY” our urban street truck.

You can find us at many festivals across the Southeast smashing out our super tasty street food.

Smashing out classic & modern flavours created with passion & Cooked with love, we only ever use the best local produce sourced directly from local suppliers.

We have learnt that building close relationships with local farmers with high animal welfare standards helps us create an even tastier end product, it keeps our carbon footprint low! But most of all it makes us feel happy in the knowledge we're doing our bit for the community & mother earth.
