Rowan merged a lifelong dream of owning a tea shop together with a love of good design and an interest in classic cars and started The Grey Earl.
We are known for serving award-winning barista coffee, speciality teas and delicious home baked cakes. We also offer other freshly made food, depending on the event, such as breakfast baps, cheese toasties, and soup. We love supporting local producers wherever possible and do all we can to be environmentally friendly.
The Grey Earl is a brand new trailer designed and made by Arthropod Trailers and fitted out with two coffee machines, cool gadgets and lighting. Looks beautiful in the day and at night.

Wonderful Catering from The Grey Earl
Sarah and Rowan at The Grey Earl catered several meals over our weekend, two breakfasts and an absolutely fantastic dinner. Both they and the food were wonderful, communication and responsiveness throughout were great, we'd highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely book ourselves if we're in the area again!

Sadly we were unable to go ahead with the proposed event but The Earl Grey team could not have been more kind, thoughtful and understanding in their communication. We will definitely go back to them when the “party girls” health and situation improves. Many thanks
