About The Griddle
Angus farm shop has been a focal point in our local village for two decades. We are dedicated to sourcing local, traditional-breed, grass fed cattle from farmers within the Ards Peninsula.
All of our burgers served in the Griddle are made fresh to order in our shop, with whatever beef we’re using that week. Our favourites include Belted Galloway, Aberdeen Angus, Irish Moiled and Hereford.
Any vegetables that are used are also hand sourced at the fruit and veg market in the early hours of the morning, and prepared in our shop.
Eating food when it is at is peak freshness is a truly different experience.
Our breads, relish’s, and cheeses used in the Griddle champion the very best artisan producers the island of Ireland has to offer.
Serving sustainably sourced, slow-produced local produce is at the heart of everything we do.

Our menu currently includes several burger offerings and our pulled pork brioche buns.
Most popular being our staple ‘Griddle Burger’ which features, an Angus farm shop beef burger, on a toasted Coghlans Artisan bakery brioche bun, Dubliner Mature cheddar, crisp lettuce, tomato, fried onions and Ballymaloe Relish.
Our Bacon and Brie burger is also a close favourite - with freshly cooked back bacon, melted Brie and Follain red onion relish.
We recently have launched a ‘Cashel Blue’ Burger and also a vegetarian spicy bean burger topped with fried halloumi, salad and relish.
We will very soon be launching our Fries and several new offerings in the early part of 2023.
Our menu names can be customised to suit the event, and we’re always more than willing to accommodate any suggestions and ideas.
