Set up in 2017, Andrew has been a freelance chef for the last six years with 20+ years of experience and hailing from Jamaica. The Hidden Chef has morphed into a takeaway & Caribbean Smokehouse over 2020 (COVID) and has always been focused on delivering the best possible events whether that be at a festival, wedding, or corporate catering.
Whilst his passion is BBQ and smokehouse, Andrews's knowledge and expertise spread far and wide with the ability to deliver high standard modern British menus as well as all the Caribbean favourites!
We are here to deliver an experience that will make your guests leave talking about the amazing food you had and leave you feeling that you placed your trust into the right hands. With extensive experience we guarantee to bring a menu to suit taste & your event with professional staff that tend to your every need from booking until live day - with no one going hungry! We are a small independent business and here for you.

Amazing from start to finish
Incredible food, service and communication. Plus cleaned up parcel after too. Decor was lovely also. Can't wait to book again! X
Wonderful food and fantastic service
Hidden Chef provided a wonderful experience from the table setting to the cleaning up. Claire and her team cooked us a beautiful meal, waited on the table and made us all feel that we were in a class restaurant but in a relaxed environment. Pretty good value for money and is an experience I'm we can repeat at some point in the future.

If you want a catering company to host a dinner party / event, ask hidden chef catering! Andrew and Claire were friendly and had good communication throughout the booking process and up to the day. The food was tasty, presented well and we had great choices. I would not fault them! ☺️ Perfect food, have not had something that good in a long time. We had a range to dietary requirements which were met as well with no trouble! Thank you so much for catering for us !!
