The Ian Thomson Quintet is an exciting new Berkshire based jazz band, playing a variety of music, from bebop, to jazz-funk, to latin-jazz, to innovative adaptations of contemporary pop and soul.
The quintet draws on the skills of five highly talented and experienced musicians: Fabio Iacono on drums, Michael Hall on percussion, Peter Hutchinson on bass, Simon Cook on keyboards and Ian Thomson on saxophones.
The music is at times sizzling with energy and at others sweet and soulful but always fresh!

Entertaining & Fun
Ian was a pleasure to work with, he understood the brief i had designed and on the night delivered really good alignment to the songs i had requested. He really was able to co-ordinate his Sax playing with some tricky songs, which the crowd loved. He did make the event very special. Also, Ian is just a lovely bloke, down to earth, but very professional.
