About The Rustic Chef
Chef Martin is a highly accomplished and experienced private chef, boasting a career that spans over two decades and includes three rosettes and recognition in the Michelin guide. He began his culinary journey at the Royal Navy as a chef where he served in various locations around the world, including Iraq and Kosovo. Thereafter, Chef Martin went on to work at some of the most prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants in the world, such as Claridges and Maze. He has served as Sous Chef to Alex Aitken at Le Poussin and later went on to become Head Chef. Martin is a true artisan, utilising only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients and allowing the natural flavours of the season to shine on the plate. He has also been a featured chef at food festivals and has given live demonstrations to over 150 people and recently hosted the chef’s demonstration theatre at the new forest show.
The Rustic Chef can cater for any type of event, private or corporate from private dinner parties, hog roast, BBQs, buffets, grazing tables, and the classic afternoon tea, if there is something special you are wanting let us know and we can work together to create something special.
