About The Sugar Peony
I am a qualified pastry chef specialising in wedding and celebration cakes, cupcakes, favours, chocolates and dessert tables. I love to create edible art and in particular sugar flowers, my favourite being the peony, hence my business name
I am highly qualified in allergens and dietary restrictions and have several years of experience in the catering industry. Having travelled around the world with my husband's company for the last 13 years, I'm now back in the UK, doing what I love most: baking! I believe that a cake should taste as good as it looks; the proof is in the pudding (or cake) as they say!
I use only local seasonal produce, free-range eggs and Belgian chocolate in my cakes and desserts. I am a big believer in supporting local businesses and being as environmentally sustainable as possible, while consistently delivering a high-quality product and great customer service from initial client contact through to the delivery of the order.
