Through the Grape Van

Leo and Sebastian met through their love of skateboarding in an underground homemade skate park on the outskirts of Cambridge. After many years of life experiences they to met again through their new love: wine, only this time in the much nicer environment of a cozy wine bar in Cambridge.

Sebastian has developed a great love of wines having worked in the wine industry for many years. He has conducted many professional wine tasting events and completed multiple wine qualifications. He quickly became aware that clients wanted wine to be fun and the idea of something like an ice cream van, but a wine van, for bespoke events was born!

Enter Leo! Having a father immersed in the wine industry and with an entrepreneurial background, Leo had a similar vision. Leo has spent years travelling the world as a performing musician, which fuelled his desire to be involved in bespoke events. Combine this with his love of wines from all over the globe, and the two began to create something beautiful.

Like a perfectly balanced, beautiful wine, the two gentlemen blended their knowledge and professional backgrounds to create something creative and different …… and so Christafette was born.

The result is a stunningly beautiful, eco-friendly wine van, offering delicious, affordable wines, for weddings, festivals, corporate events, private garden parties, and wine tastings.
